Germany Bernhard Schlink: The Reader

This is a book i read two year ago,so my writing capacity as well as my memories will prevent me from doing a full review.
Nonetheless i would be curious to know if one of you read this.

It's a very "German" book, where the guilt of war is once again present. The story rufly is of a young man having had a affair with an older woman meet her years after at a post war trial for a hideous crime. His taking interested in her again lead him to discover a more complexe woman than he though at first.the book is far better than this summary make it seems.
The slow rythm, the revolution in the mind of the main caractere, and the simple strengh of Hanna made it a very interesting read.

I never heard before nore since of this writer but this was a excellent book and would recommande it warmly.
