he writes for "people everywhere still young enough to be curious about the world."
Lately I read his Lapidarium 4 & 5. He was a great journalist and most certainly a world citizen.

I agree with you. What I like about his writing, is that there is human element in it, unlike the typical journalistic language.

his Emporer, about Haile Selassie, and Shah of Shahs about Pahlavi are excellent.

Hi,
I would recommend Kapuściński's Empire which is about the fall of the Soviet Union. You don't have to be interested in this topic to enjoy that book because it is a excellent read itself. It is Kapuściński at his best.
