Ryszard Kapu?ci?ski - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ryszard_Kapu%C5%9Bci%C5%84ski)

he writes for "people everywhere still young enough to be curious about the world."

Lately I read his Lapidarium 4 & 5. He was a great journalist and most certainly a world citizen.

I agree with you. What I like about his writing, is that there is human element in it, unlike the typical journalistic language.

Hi,

I would recommend Kapuściński's Empire which is about the fall of the Soviet Union. You don't have to be interested in this topic to enjoy that book because it is a excellent read itself. It is Kapuściński at his best.

Travels with Herodotus - a brilliant book that I already mentioned on another thread.
