The Frankfurt Book Fair (http://www.buchmesse.de/en/fbf/) will take place between 14th and 18th of October, with China being the guest nation this year.

The Frankfurt Book Fair is the most important marketplace for books, media, rights and licences worldwide. More than 7,300 exhibitors from 100 countries, 299,000 visitors and over 10,000 journalists.
During the days of the festival we may get some news snippets of what's been snapped up, rightswise, so it should be worthwhile having this thread. I expect there may be some flurry to obtain the rights for a recent Nobel laureate.
