Following the Bolano controversy, i think we could gather the spit and turd here instead of one diverse undiserving and often dead (Bolano, stieg Larsson) authors.
When i write undeserving, i mean of the spitfull critics.


To be honest , i don't really care, i'm curious and can read anything.
I'd rather read it than wonder what is it.
Well, i would wait a bit, say a year or two, not to feel to much like a grazer(meeeehhh) but i often read it.

I just hate those ' ho i would read it but with all that buzz...' snobs and original at low cost to me.

Anyway i know you read everything and commercial shit won't frighten you, though the lost symbol might have cost you a few neurones.

I just see that each time an author, and specialy a post mortem revelation, is brought in the light and become successfull, a wave of love and hatred follows.(Bolano, Sandor Marai,..)
Which can be deffine by the simple lovers and the "over rating" clamers.

Living in the country and fearing the TV and news like small pox, i enjoy reading without much of ado influance.
But even though i don't mind to much, i'm curious to see what make Success, i don't believe in the almighty power of advertisement.
Some crap heavily advertised end up in the dark, it's interesting to see what catch.

But i agree, this is not of major interest and it might as well rest in the oubliette of the forum.
