Not only is it Easter today, but it's also the second birthday of World Literature Forum. I just want to thank all those over the past two years that have, in whatever capacity, contributed to the forum.

When I got the idea to create such a forum I never expected it to be as international in its membership as it has become. Nor did I anticipate the scope of literature that would eventually come to be covered. It's been a great journey so far, despite the occasional niggle or hacker.

So, here's to more years. Thanks.

Yes, Happy Birthday, WLF! :)

I joined six months after its initial creation, and the journey has been quite a treat, for me as well.

Thank you, Stewart, for creating this wonderfully liberal beehive where we can all talk, buzz and sting each other to our little hearts' content.

My browsing history tells me that this is my # 1 "visited" site of the day. Creepy, huh?

Happy Birthday WLF! I never realized the forum was so young. When I joined in it already seemed like a pretty solid community. My reading priorities list has tripled since then. It is the only international forum I post on and I've grown quite fond of it. Happy Easter to all those celebrating this holiday today! :)

I too am happy that Stewart has kept this forum going for two years now. Literature is, indeed, written all over the world. And although we all have our countries and authors of preference, it is healthy to also look at what enthuses others.

Obviously, a literary translator such as myself will be interested both professionally and as a hobby. My job only really involves a couple of languages, but my interests stretch far wider. And essays, and sometimes plays, interest me as well as the two most represented genres here: fiction and poetry. And we can also gossip.

So I for one hope the forum will continue for a long time.

Thanks Stewart! And Happy Easter to you all.

Thanks Stewart for starting this wonderful forum. I wasn't aware of lots of foreign literatures until I got here. The bad thing is that I cannot try and read these unknown (to me) literatures.
But, thanks to each and everyone of you, I learn something every time I come here.
Well, that's all I think. Happy birthday WLF, and Happy Easter to you all.
