Very interesting names in here. Main attractions for me would be:

Fracisco Goldman, Alain Mabanckou, Adam Zagajewski, Ben Okri, Sjon, The chat between Tahar Ben Jelloun and Elias Khoury and the one between Krasnahorkai and Toibin. Gao Xingjian, Michael Ondaatje, Javier Cercas and Ingrid Betancourt.

The tribute of Milosz and Sebald are also very attractive.

I wish I could go.

Thanks Harry

Have any of you here been to events involviong the authors mentioned in the previous posting by Daniel? People may have commented, but comments do get scattered on this website.

Yes, I went for a couple of days. The festival has a lovely atmosphere and is very well organised. I particularly liked the event with Sebastian Barry, which was packed, and the event about Czeslaw Milosz. Polish poet Adam Zagajewski recited Milosz’s poems wonderfully, in Polish and English. I took one of my authors along and he wrote a column about his experiences at the festival: http://hollandparkpress.co.uk/magazine_detail.php?magazine_id=145&language=English
