Banquet of Lies by Amin Zaoui
Press release:
The next title in translation from Marion Boyars Publishers will be Banquet of Lies by Amin Zaoui. Not only is it one of the few examples of Algerian literature that can be found in English, it will also be published in a bilingual edition as part of our attempt to get people thinking more about literature in translation and the issues involved. Frank Wynne, who translated the book, has called the act of translation 'a series of choices', and we're very much looking forward to seeing how his own are received.
