Cookbooks in Translation
As an owner of the four-volume Larousse Gastronomique (Larousse Gastronomique - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) in English translation and my French being very rusty, I can't judge how this reads compared to the original. I'm quite happy to convert kg to lb but translating the "preparation" part of the recipe seems like something that should be approached with caution.
