This may be a question for Stiffelio, who seems to be well up on Spanish-language literature.
Something I was translating led me to the name Luis Mateo Díez, whose name I'd never heard before but turns out to be a fairly prolific Spanish writer.
Our library only has "Las Estaciones Provinciales" (1982) and "La gloria de los niños" (2007). The former novel is set in the Spain of the 1950s. The latter seems also to be set in those years and deals with war orphans, if I've got my facts right.
I'm looking for translations, as my Spanish is by no means up to reading these books.
