I met this writer about three years ago in the Guadalajara Book Fair. It was the first time I had heard of him but it was a great discovery. I attended two of his presentations and I really enjoyed the readings of his works and the way he engaged his audience. At the time, the only one of this works available to buy at the Fair was his novel The Piano Cemetery, translated to Spanish. However the price was ridiculous, almost 40 bucks, so with all the pain of my heart I had to say no.
Yesterday it was a great surprise to find the same book at a local library for a more reasonable, not cheap price (about 20 dollars). I decided this time to get and finally I'm going to have the pleasure to read this guy, who has the peculiarity to have co-written an album of gothic metal along the also Portuguese band Moonspell, which was titled The Antidote.
Here is the wiki entry in english. Of course in Portuguese is longer, if you can read it take a chance.
