    As a living translator, and the occasional reader of books, I do feel that I've got better things to do than read 618 aphorisms about books. Does David Shields actually consider that life and literature in countries that or not the USA may function differently? And what does he mean in detail by "realism". No, this is not my cup of tea, I'm afraid.
