Thread: Ads On Forum

    Post Ads On Forum

World Literature Forum is over four years old now and, given that I pay for it completely out of my own pocket - and intend to continue doing so - I'm looking to implement some form of advertising on to the site. I don't want it to be a gaudy affair, distracting users from the core of the forum: the content. So, to that end, over the next few days you may see ads appear, disappear, reappear, etc. as I check how obtrusive certain ad delivery systems are. There's also the likelihood that ads could be opted out or that their delivery could be staggered or reduced based on certain criteria: e.g. post count.

I don't mind seeing ads pop up now and then. I do understand that you may need them.

I agree to pop-ups. I object to ads in posts with links to unknown locations. New user starman08 causes suspicions.*
