There's a big poetry festival in London right now. Anyone here attended it?

I do hate the expression "cultural olympiad". Where do these people get such kitsch and unliterary names from? Just because a load of sportspeople are going to run around London this year doesn't mean that every cultural event had to be an "olympiad".

As someone has already commented there, the website for the poetry event is "shambolic" as they don't even list the poets who are going to perform. Maybe they didn't get any beyond Simon Armitage, who is billed there.
