Yuri Izdryk (1962-) is a contemporary Ukrainian novelist, poet and non-fiction writer. I'm not sure if he's been translated into any other language yet except Russian and Polish. His novels include Island Krk (1993), Vozzek (1997)--[pronounce the z's like in German], The Second Leon or The Double Leon (2000), and AMTM (2004).

If you can read Russian at all, some of his work (along with many other Ukrainian authors) is available here.

From what I can tell, he's a hugely experimental writer concerned most of all with form, or with the possible effect of form on the mind of the would-be reader.
