I am reading a new book by the great Irish writer William Trevor and I was searching this forum curious to see what people here knew or thought about him. I am surprised I didn't find much at all. He is one of the greatest living writers in the English language. Allow me then to open a thread in his name. I welcome you to discuss his work if you happen to have read any of his books and I recommend that you rush and read him if you haven't yet. Here are a couple of links to learn more about Trevor.

Over the years I have read a few Trevor novels, of which I'd recommend
Mrs. Eckdorf in O'Neill's Hotel,
The Children of Dynmouth,
Reading Turgenev,
My House in Umbria and
Felicia's Journey. I also loved his collection of short stories
Angels at the Ritz and I am now enjoying
Cheating at Canasta.
