It looks like a varied selection of some of the most critically acclaimed poets born circa 1945-1965. They mostly belong to postmodernism stylistically. Some names are more famous for their political activity but I guess you get that when the Ministry finances something.
I don't really read poetry so I can't tell you anything about the quality (or "quality") of anyone from the list. Krešimir Bagić was a lecturer of mine. He is a good guy. Poet? I don't know, free verse bores me.


Edit: I found an article about this selection. The selectors called this "the panorama, not an anthology". They selected the poets so their selection has both regional and generational variety (bear in mind, it seems that for them "young" means "in mid-to-late 40s").

So many releases, I almost feel browsing a foreign editor! Stênio Gardel for children, Jenny Erpenbeck..., someone must be reading and buying books in this country.
