Symbolism is a 19th Century artistic and literary movement in France and and Belgium which represent absolute truth symbolically through language and metaphorical images inspired by spirituality, dreams and imagination. Influences include Emmanuel Swedenborg and William Blake.

?? Clepsidra by Camilo Pessanha. Nowadays always packaged in a single slim volume including his entire poetic output.

?? Eugénio de Castro. Widely translated in his own lifetime but nowadays pretty much forgotten (like Ferreira de Castro, but worse).
