What is the original title of the novel?
There is no such thing. Del Paso only wrote four novels: José Trigo, Palinuro de México, Noticias de un Imperio, and a minor detective novel called Linda 67.

Talking about GGM, an unfinished novel with the title of En agosto nos vemos will be published this year. There's a lot of controversy because it was written during a time when García Márquez was already starting with the dementia which would eventualy took him off the public life for his latest years. Even Salman Rushdie publicly came out saying he was concerned this novel would be published because it hurts his legacy, and García Márquez himself didn't want it published.
Anyway, the book will come out because the greed of heirs and publishers always wins. I have no intention at all to read it.
