A list of all-time Nobel winners and nominees

Hi,
As a fan of statistics I've made this list (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1_1NYApL0_NLayH560KV7U7-nypLQGKVaQdFe-pN9It8/edit?usp=sharing) and decided to share it so maybe someone can benefit from it for some reason.
In case of multiple nominations in a year or a nomination shared with other authors, the sheet states a year only.
Bold indicates a winner.
Italic states years after winning a Nobel (either accepting the award one year later or some other reasons).
Underline means this was the last possible nomination, as it's the year a given author died. When it comes to authors that don't have a country written yet, it means I've yet to check them (along with the year of death).

I've been using this website: https://old.nobelprize.org/nomination/archive/.
If there's anything that should be corrected, feel free to comment, as it's available to do so. I haven't shared it to edit though in order not to spread chaos.

Take care,
Klaymene

Impressive. I don't know if its me not reading properly but I cannot locate Mo Yan, José Saramago, Gao Xingjiang, Mario Vargas Llosa or Orhan Pamuk on the list.
Should'nt Samuel Beckett be in 'bold' (?)
Also, I have noted that the alphabetical order is based on the first name of each author. However since authors such as Lin Yutang and Hu Shi have their names written according to the way they usually appear according to the chinese usage, they thus have not been listed based on their first name but on their family name (Lin and Hu)...a bit tricky...

..

Since the nominations are released only after 50 years, these names are too recent winners for us to know when they were first nominated...

O... I get it now. I misunderstood the title of the thread then... Thanks for the clarification.

Hey Klaymene,
are you still visiting this Forum? I'm writing a popular article on literary lists and canons, and I plan to use the data you've collected. How do you prefer to be referred in the text? By nick, name or just "a friend from Internet"?
