Yes, it is. I've just started to read him and I love his style.

In my head I've been planning to put together a post comparing Elmore Leonard's Get Shorty to AS Byatt's Possession. (I think Leonard is a better writer than Byatt, but Possession is a better novel than Get Shorty. In my imaginary post I discuss this paradox at length ). Ahh, maybe one day.
