The Nobel Prize in Literature 2017 has been awarded to Kazuo Ishiguro "who in novels of great emotional force has uncovered the abyss beneath our illusory sense of connection with the world".

I suppose Kazuo Ishiguro was strongly considered even last year but they decided to pick Dylan instead.

Wow and as luck would have it, I just got Remains of the Day from the library!

And I loved that Redheadshadz' theory wound up working !

Incredible. Book prices on Amazon just spiked. 160$ for an Ishiguro paperback, what a joke!

Purchased the Buried Giant (for like 10$)

I'll have to reread that one. I wasn't too into it, but I think it was due back at the library and I had to power through it super fast
