Among many other dead, we have our first writer who succumbed to complications secondary to coronavirus: Terrence McNally. He is a new name to me, but I'm eager to check him out. He was almost exclusively a playwright, though he did produce some work for film and television (in other words: he didn't write poetry and he didn't write prose). He seems like an interesting figure. I'll say more when I read some of his work--
