So I've seen a glowing review of this film Le Otto Montagne that's just premiered at Cannes in competition, and realised it was based on a book that won the Strega, and the subject matter (both the nature environment and the depiction of male friendship) is something very dear to me. I've read some nice comments about this novel elsewhere on the forum, so, while I wait for the film, this might just be my next read, when I'm able to do so .
