I like mostly Hindi film music, and here are my favourite ones:
Gulaal (movie) songs playlist (movie's name refers to a type of red powder).
Emosanal attyachar. Movie: Dev.D (Emotional torture; movie is a sort of 'Hamlet 2000' cum 'Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead' for the Indian classic 'Devdas')(Very explicit, in both Hindi and English).

Current English favourites:
Death Cab for Cutie: I'll follow you into the dark
Coldplay: Cemeteries of London (it's brilliant how it sounds like the line is ending.)

I also enjoy Chinese classical, but I don't know anything beyond that about what I heard.

It was a stroke of genius on their part to name their all-girl band Viagra. See, if you're a straight male, you get a hard-on. And if you're gay you enjoy the music and the pretty postures... LOL.

I used to be obsessed with Sigur Ros a few years ago, lately I haven't been listening to them so much though. They're still one of my top of the list 'must see live' bands.

I don't know if any of you is familiar with Russian 80's pop, I can't say I really am either, but this song is insanely tacky and hilarious! This and Tarkan, the Turkish eurotrash prince of male belly dancing, always crack me up.

Thank heavens, NO!

Don't get me wrong, I love Eric (don't we all, :p). But can you imagine what would happen if he became moderator? User-names would be altered, posts would be edited for content and/or deleted arbitrarily, and a few dozen users would... disappear into thin air like they were never born! :( Eric would then take over every corner of this forum, exile Stewart to Siberia, and enjoy a brief (if bloody) rule of terror during which the Estonian flag would be the ONLY flag we'd be allowed to use. Eric, honey, if you're reading this, say it ain't so!!!

Oh, I am SO over that, thank you! Can't say I didn't try--had a g/f (very briefly) in high school, wasn't for me. I can and do appreciate female beauty, however. Monica Bellucci, Nicole Kidman, Taylor Swift--I think they're all very beautiful.

OH MY GOD!!! You should meet my mother--she LOVES this song. White Roses, right??? If you think this is tacky and hilarious, you need to see this one, LOL!!! I was pissing my pants. (I mean, is that supposed to be hot? Maybe it was, in 1989... LOL.) Her recent videos are OK though, I like the one called Explore Me.

It was a tough decision that took place in my mind for about 2 seconds when I saw the words 'Russian" and 'girls' together

Taylor Swift still smells like jail, so no no no. Bellucci is great!
By the way, last wednesday I went to see Jennifer's Body. What a terrible movie and still came out the theater with a smile :), go figure it out.

Yes, White Roses. It amuses me how I understand more of the lyrics now compared to when I first heard it about half a year ago. All mothers have their cheezy favourites from their younger days, I find it awfully endearing, I'm sure one day I'll have mine too... :eek:

And to think that in the 80's videos like these were pretty much the norm...was everyone on crack back then???

I think Taylor is sweet. When the Love Story video came out, I remember drooling over it for weeks. (Granted, it was not HER I had the hots for, but still!)

Mal?na is still my favorite, with her. She's very beautiful in that film and she also gets a chance, gasp!, to ACT. The last few scenes, where they beat her up in the street, were horrifying.

The Italian Vogue magazine published some nude pictures of her when she was pregnant (awhile back), which created quite a stir, then Britney published hers (copy-cat!, LOL); and Bellucci never-ever looked quite as beautiful again as she did in those pictures. I would include one here, but Janet might report me to the authorities for... disseminating adult material (not that you can actually SEE anything, mind you!)
