I didn´t find a study guide on Lima Barreto, but two reviews. Both contain spoilers as they summarize the story. As the number of readers in these forum and consequently the interest in the author seems to increase I intend to open later on a Lima Barreto page with context, bio and list of his oeuvres, if there isn´t one already.
