Was Contempt based on the Moravia novel? If so, I'll have to check it out.

^I think so, but I can't be sure. I've only ever read one Moravia book, forget the name, it had a feisty Roman (i.e. from Rome, Italy) woman as a protagonist.

Olga Tokarczuk seemed to like Einstürzende Neubauten, The Cure and Róże Europy during her youth.
She semeed to enjoy ilegal punk parties during the colapse of communism in Poland too. LOL.
I'd like to know if these possibilities are real.
It would be nice if she publishes her memories during the transition between Communism and Iliberalism/Conservatism in Poland.

And Lúcio Cardoso was an actor/playwright/screenplayer too.
