And THAT elicits my Jeffrey Dahmer story, because as I have said, I have a story for everything. Call me raconteur.
I talked to someone who almost went home with Jeffrey Dahmer when they met at Carol’s Speakeasy bar in Chicago, only refusing because Milwaukee was a tad far. He said that Dahmer projected a fairly affable normal vibe, not creepy at all. (Which of course is how he lured guys in.)
Carol’s Speakeasy was a great bar, but once it received publicity as one of Dahmer’s favorite hangouts, couldn’t survive the negativity. I imagine the bartenders there who knew him as a regular must have been interviewed?
The Dahmer film with Jeremy Renner is quite good.

Mishima was of course quite handsome, but notably fetishistic about it, what with the bodybuilding and the paraphernalia (swords, uniforms) and all. Since we know where all that led, his good looks can’t help but be unsettling, looked at now.
