Pretty sure that's the wrong image, M.

"If people doled out nutkickings where they are deserved, the world would be a better place." I saved that quote from you and use it as a tagline on some political sites. Quintessential philosophy I'd say :p

Yeah, noticed that, too. Eric logged on now and then, but it wasn't until you returned that he turned up the heat again. You are like a co-dependent couple.

Some of us worked out long ago that Eric and Liam are an item. Eric claims to live in Uppsala but he actually lives in Queens.

Hmm. Was it REALLY necessary to ban Mirabell? Methinks a simple slap on the hand would have been sufficient. What can I say, this place just won't be the same without him.

I shall attempt to make this the kind of site Eric wants. And of course I shall frequently request debate, and then ignore the information and arguments put forth by those that don't share my opinion.

Or perhaps I'll just start posting reviews as they come along and take a step back from the hypocritical smarminess of Herr Dickens, and the mind-boggling double-standards of Monsieur Dorrell, (the most pretentious and presumptuous person I've ever met, yet one who feels free to, as he did above, call me presumptuous for telling someone to get over themselves, as if I was actually demanding everyone act like a twenty year old), both of whom seem to mistake ornery obstinacy for a perk of old age.

As for Mirabell, I don't think he wanted to stay here anymore, and he made it quite clear that if the asininity of several posters wasn't dealt with (apparently people get offended when he insulted them for telling lies or making racist claims), he wasn't going to stay anyway. Quite a shame. I found mirabell's insight on serious threads to be lightyears more informative and interesting than Eric's dull, meandering pedantry, (it really made me angry when Eric called M's reviews dull and long). I will stick around if only so that there is some active check on on the two above named users. I would definitely expect something better from many users of this site, especially those with a high degree of education which would make me expect that they know something and know how to contribute better than they have been.

I'm simply through with taking some people seriously. They'll have to earn that bare minimum of respect back or just deal with it. That's my personal solution for getting by without wading through any further shit.

I refer you to the FAQ: Dealing With Troublesome Users if you don't want to deal with other users' posts:

Can I block posts, emails and messages from specific users?

If there are particular members that bother you and you do not want to see their posts or receive Private Messages and Emails from them, then you can add these members to your 'Ignore List'. There are several ways to do this:

Through your User Control Panel: User CP, Settings & Options, Edit Ignore List. Then, type their name into the empty text box and click 'Okay'.

And before this thread trails off into more slanging, I'm closing it too. Individual threads can be opened for specific issues from here on in.
